I am interested in how tropical climate varies on a wide range of timescales, from seasonal through glacial-interglacial. My current interests and projects include:

- Reconstructing the history of the Indian Monsoon since the Last Glacial Maximum using sediment cores from the Arabian Sea.

- Evaluating changes in the connection between the Indian Monsoon and the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) on millennial and multi-millennial timescales.

- Using nearshore corals to reconstruct changes in land surface properties over the past few centuries.
